The Flourish team have been busy this past few weeks! We’ve attended three standout care sector events this spring: Care Show London and the Care Roadshows in the North West and Midlands. Each one offered fresh insights, practical ideas, and a powerful reminder of the passion and innovation driving care across the country. They were also a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and celebrate the brilliant people at the heart of care.
Care Show London: Big Conversations in the Big City
Held in the heart of the capital, the Care Show London brought together thought leaders, trailblazing suppliers and thousands of care professionals for two inspiring days. With thought-provoking talks, access to expert advice and new innovations to explore, it was a jam-packed event.
We were thrilled to host a panel in the Care Providers Voice theatre, with care sector experts Neil Eastwood, the Founder & CEO of Care Friends, Nick Griffiths, Head of Learning and Development at Bluebird Care, Tayvanie Nagendran, Managing Director at Rochemont Care and KTN Group and Co-chair of Care Providers’ Voice, and Louie Werth, Care Research’s Director. Our brilliant panellists discussed the impact of leadership on care in the fast-moving care sector.
Care Roadshows: Regional Focus, Real Impact
Two weeks on from the Care Show, we were proud to join care professionals in Liverpool and Birmingham for the Care Roadshow North West and Midlands. These regional events offered targeted support for providers navigating local pressures and priorities.
With expert-led seminars, hands-on exhibits, and practical takeaways, both events gave us plenty to reflect on and take back to our teams.
Sessions from the Care Quality Commission were especially valuable, providing much-needed clarity on evolving frameworks and the practical implications for providers. It was great to see such a strong focus on person-centred care, leadership, and workforce resilience – themes that sit at the heart of everything we do at Flourish.
Looking Ahead
The buzz across the events – from keynote sessions to exhibitor stands – reflected the drive we’re seeing across the sector to transform services for the better.
