Care Workers Charity Gold Sponsor

We are committed to improving the well-being of care workers in the UK.

That’s why we are a Gold Sponsor for The Care Workers’ Charity, an award-winning organisation led and staffed by former care workers.

Our support ensures care workers have a lifeline when they experience financial hardship, enabling them to access grants to cover unexpected costs such as a funeral for a loved one or purchasing essential household items.

The charity also provides access to qualified therapists and mental health first-aider training so that care workers have the emotional bandwidth to continue delivering high-quality care and the tools to support their colleagues better.

Since 2016, The Care Workers’ Charity has supported over 12,500 care workers across the UK with nearly £6.2 million in Crisis, Covid-19, Funeral and Mental well-being and Health grants.

This life-changing support is critical for maintaining a healthy and motivated social care workforce that feels empowered to stay in their jobs.  We believe everyone employed in the UK’s social care sector deserves a fair wage, reflecting the essential support they provide to our society’s most vulnerable.

By supporting The Care Workers’ Charity, we give care workers a voice in sector-wide discussions about social care reform and help raise awareness of the difficulties they faced during the pandemic and continue to face in the cost-of-living crisis.

It signals our commitment to providing decent work opportunities across all regions and sectors in the UK. It sends out the message to care workers that they are valued and supported.

Over the past year, we have provided £2,500 to The Care Workers’ Charity, supporting a more sustainable future for the UK social care workforce.
