Working in partnership with ME Passport, we have strengthened how training completion is recorded and evidenced. Training completed through Click Learning is digitally verified and stored within each worker’s employment passport. This gives organisations greater confidence that training has been completed and can be clearly evidenced.
About ME Passport
ME Passport is a digital employment passport designed for social care. It enables carers to own, manage and share their compliance and validation information in one place. Checks are completed once, updated in real time, and can be transferred across organisations. This supports a more flexible and efficient workforce.
The challenge
Organisations across social care often rely on training records that are manually shared, re-checked and repeated. Certificates are emailed, stored in different places, and difficult to verify with confidence.
This creates unnecessary duplication. Staff repeat training that has already been completed, and managers spend valuable time checking and validating records.
Working alongside ME Passport, we set out to create a more reliable and efficient approach. One where training is completed once, verified automatically, and clearly visible when needed.
Our approach
We worked closely with the ME Passport team to connect Click Learning with the digital employment passport, ensuring that training completion is verified and recorded as part of a worker’s core compliance record.
One journey. From training to trusted evidence.
- Workers complete training once through Click Learning
- Training is automatically verified
- Records are stored within a trusted digital identity in ME Passport
- Authorised employers can view training instantly
- Duplicate training is reduced
- Onboarding decisions are faster
This removes the need for certificates to be emailed, manually checked or repeated unnecessarily.
How it works in practice
When a worker completes training through Click Learning, that completion is digitally verified and recorded within their ME Passport.
Training is linked directly to the individual rather than separate records. Verification happens automatically, without additional administration. Employers can access up-to-date training records when needed, and workers carry their verified learning with them across roles and organisations.
This creates a more consistent and dependable way to manage training and compliance.
The impact
By working together, we have created a clearer and more efficient way to evidence training across the workforce.
For organisations
- Confidence that training has been completed and verified
- Less time spent checking, chasing or repeating records
- Faster, more informed onboarding decisions
For staff
- Training completed once and recognised across roles
- Greater ownership of their learning and compliance records
- Less repetition and a smoother experience when moving between organisations
For the sector
- A move away from manually shared and self-declared records
- More consistent and trusted evidence of workforce capability
- Reduced duplication across organisations
Why this matters
In social care, where workforce movement is common, the ability to trust and recognise training is essential.
By connecting verified learning with a worker’s digital employment passport, this partnership supports a more efficient and flexible workforce. It reduces duplication, improves confidence in compliance, and ensures that training is recognised wherever staff go.
Looking ahead
Our partnership with ME Passport reflects a shared focus on improving how training and compliance are managed across the sector.
We will continue to build on this approach, ensuring that training remains clearly evidenced, easily accessible, and aligned with the needs of both organisations and the workforce.
