Course overview of Domestic Abuse

Domestic abuse is an under reported crime, however the number of cases reported from 2020 to 2021 increased by 6%. Moreover, this is a continuing trend indicating increases each year.

Furthermore, in this Domestic Abuse training course we explore the impact on individuals, children, families, relationships and the people who are providing support to victims of abuse. We also look at the new Domestic Abuse Act 2021 which offers greater protection for people being abused and makes prosecuting more straight-forward.
