Aims of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) – An Introduction course

- Know that it is illegal to practice FGM in the UK and what the legal consequences are
- Understand what your responsibilities are if you suspect a child or young person in your care has experienced or witnessed FGM
- Know the appropriate guidelines and protocol to follow, regardless of your role
