Course overview of Healing Environments
Vulnerable and traumatised children and young people are powerfully affected by environmental stimuli.
This course enables learners to understand the interaction between human beings and the physical environment and to develop the knowledge and skills they need to create within their own settings, and surroundings that promote recovery from trauma.

- The impact of the environment on recovery from trauma
- What is stress regulation?
- Five senses and more
- Identifying the environment for the child
- Identifying the environment that may promote recovery

Aims of Healing Environments course
