This Manual Handling course is perfect for anyone who with manual handling as part of their job. Furthermore, lifting related injuries are rated by HSE as causing over a third of all workplace injuries. Therefore, unsafe techniques can cause you and the people you support a lot of harm. As a result, we recommend this course to keep your knowledge up to date and to keep yourself and your patient/the person you support as safe as possible.

Safe Manual Handling is also required by law. Along with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR, the The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (13(2)) and the Council Directive 90/269/EEC (1990) also highlight the importance of health and safety in the workplace when it comes to lifting and handling.
