Course overview of Safeguarding Children
Our Safeguarding Children course helps you understand the key principles of safeguarding practice. Also, it explores how to recognise and respond to concerns, and the steps you need to take to protect children and young people.
Safeguarding children and young people is a responsibility shared by everyone in health and social care. Whether you work directly with children or support families and carers, this course explains the safeguarding process and your role in keeping children safe.
Safeguarding Children Training
This Safeguarding Children training is CPD-accredited and supports Care Certificate Standard 11. It gives you the knowledge and confidence to spot the signs of abuse or neglect. In addition, it equips you with clear, practical actions to take when concerns arise.
This training is part of our Adult Care Essentials bundle and is included in the Skills for Care statutory and mandatory training guide.
