Course overview of Social Pedagogy
Social pedagogy is an approach to learning and development that has a humanist and holistic foundation.
This course is designed to introduce the learner to some of the key aspects and theoretical models of social pedagogy and offer an opportunity for reflection on the ways of supporting looked after children and young people to develop to their full potential.

This course will cover:
- An Overview of Social Pedagogy
- The key aims of social pedagogy and how it can benefit Foster Carers and the children and young people in their care
- How to use key social and pedagogic tools and models in your everyday interactions

Aims of Social Pedagogy course
