Course overview of Working with Families of Young People in Residential Childcare
For a variety of reasons, many children grow up in residential care environments away from their family homes. In some instances, they will have no contact with their family members at all, but most have at least some contact and this is important for both the child and the family members concerned.
For staff working in residential childcare, this can be a delicate and difficult area to deal with.
This online course is designed to support staff to navigate this often sometimes challenging aspect of their work.
