Course overview of Youth Justice System

Youth Justice is for young people who have broken the law. The youth justice system attempts to give young people an opportunity to change their lives for the better. This course explains the procedures that are followed within the Youth Justice System, risk factors and ways to support young people to help prevent re-offending.

This online training covers why children and young people are vulnerable to engagement in offending behaviour and how to reduce the risk of criminalisation.

We look at how youth justice operates, how the court system works and how you can work in partnership so you can apply this knowledge in your role.
