Overview of Lead to Succeed - 9th October 2024
Lead to Succeed was developed by Skills for Care in response to an identified need within the sector to up-skill existing managers and provide a pathway to develop aspiring managers in adult social care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) states: "Our data shows that if a service is rated good or outstanding in well-led, it's more likely to be rated good or outstanding overall, compared with any other key question."
Lead to succeed is at the forefront of the more formal development of aspiring new managers and deputies. This learning programme will help individuals to develop their leadership and management potential, gain knowledge and be supported and challenged to put this into practice. We’ve received overwhelming feedback about the difference it can make.
Lead to Succeed is for those working in Health and Social Care who already hold a leadership position or wish to do so. This may apply to team leaders, elder care providers, managers of care facilities, or anybody else who wants to improve their leadership abilities and career prospects.
