Overview of Reflection on Childhood Attachment Tool
This Reflection on Childhood Attachment Tool course aims to enable social work teams and staff to work with parents and foster parents. Furthermore, it helps them to understand how child attachment experiences affect the way they deal with challenges as an adult. Moreover, we believe this reflection process is key to helping foster parents provide the best possible care.
This course is developed by experts. It is an informative assessment tool that allows potential foster carers to reflect on their own experiences of childhood attachment. In addition to this, as part of this process, participants are invited to consider how past childhood experiences might shape the way they approach challenges. As well as potentially manage children in their care.
Finally, the tool consists of an introductory online session, a 1.5-day face-to-face session, and a two-hour follow-up webinar.
